Chipley Flea Market Day$
Thousands of bargain hunters have visited the small rural town of Chipley, Florida, many for the first time, for ‘Chipley Flea Market Day$’, a twice-yearly sales event which jump-starts the local economy.
The Fall 2015 edition of the event will be held on Friday and Saturday, September 11 and 12, and local businesses are anticipating another boost in sales.
A part of ‘Flea Across Florida’, the event has been underwritten by Real Florida Magazine, a subsidiary of local public relations firm The Goulding Agency in Chipley, for the past several years. ‘This is part of the longest flea market in the Southeast United States’, says Debbie Goulding, owner of The Goulding Agency, ‘and a bargain-hunters dream with over 272 miles of sales from Live Oak to Pensacola’.
