NFCH Generator

Northwest Florida Community Hospital gained the ability to operate complete 'off the grid' on Tuesday, July 21, as they installed a 950K (kilowatt) backup generator.  The project includes increasing the former generator service from 450K, which provided limited critical emergency power to the facility, to the current 950K, which will provide emergency power to the entire facility. In addition to the new generator, the hospital replaced all the electrical main panels, electrical switch gears and automatic transfer switches, all of which systematically control power from generator back to hospital power during power outages.
