Chipley Police Find 'Skimmer' on Express Lane Gas Pump

The Chipley, Florida Police Department today warned local residents and visitors that a credit card 'skimmer' was found on a gas pump at the Express Lane convenience store on Highway 90 (Jackson Avenue) in Chipley, Florida. The device is used to fraudulently obtain a consumer's credit card information at the time a customer is 'paying at the pump'. Chipley Police advise that they are working with the retail store management in an attempt to identify a suspect and in the meantime, if you have used your credit card at this station you need to monitor your card information and notify your bank immediately if you see suspicious activity.
